Guy Crittenden lives outdoors. Growing up in a rural town near the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia, he discovered a profound connection to life on the river. His childhood days were spent hunting and fishing and playing lots of sports. "It was a great childhood for someone with my curiosity". He began drawing and painting at age 12, and was given his first real camera at age 14. "The beauty around me was the inspirational fabric of my creativity... it just flowed out of me. Drawing, painting and taking photos were ways for me to connect to my world, and still holds the same fascination for me today. Of course now, I also use my vision and expression to create images for my clients." Guy began his career as an Art Director in Atlanta, Ga. After shooting national TV spots and designing campaigns for 10 years, he chose to shift his focus to photography and digital imaging. He currently lives in Richmond, Virginia and travels extensively. |
